Here is a super fun song that we recorded for the holiday season!
Key of She Quartet (Karen, Roxanne, Donna, Claudia) thought how great it would be to collaborate with our friends from Obsidian quartet (Susan, Michelle, Katie, Karen) who reunited to do this amazing song with us.
Side note: Did you know that Obsidian is a rock...hence Rockin' the Key.
We all love this song and we hope that you enjoy this as much as we did preparing it for you.
Wow! We are loving the learning we are doing and how each month we have another song to share with you. This month we are featuring our wonderful baritone, Roxanne.
With or Without You and it is one of our favourite songs by U2 and has a more modern a cappella focus than some of the more traditional styles of barbershop. We do hope you enjoy the variety.
Watch for next month's release. It is a collaboration with another quartet and is a wonderful song from a well know musical.
Enjoy!
Key of She
We are continuing to expand our repertoire and learn new songs while we are apart.
Are you Lonesone Tonight is a favourite of Karen's, our bass, so we thought we would add it to our list.
We do hope that you enjoy this rendition of an old favourite.
Key of She
I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing is one of our favourite songs with a wonderful message. Collaborating together has been fun and we love that we are able to share this message with you during COVID times.
We can't wait to give lots of hugs to our friends and families when this pandemic is over.
COVID-19 has changed our lives.
This is a wonderful a cappella arrangement that expresses the sentiments of many of us and it affected our souls which is why we wanted to share it with you.
Enjoy
Donna, Karen, Roxanne, Claudia
Key of She Quartet is excited on the release of their first virtual quartet video. With COVID, we were unable to get together and a virtual quartet seemed like the perfect solution.
O Come, O Come Emmanual is a traditional Christmas carol and is a favourite of this quartet.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas
Watch for our next virtual quartet to be released on Dec 15th.
The weather was perfect for Key of She's first annual Beach Party! $200 was raised for the local food bank! Thank you!
