We are a vibrant, multi award-winning a cappella chorus based in Kitchener-Waterloo, bringing together over 40 talented singers from all walks of life. United by our passion for four-part harmony, we create unforgettable musical experiences through concerts, community performances, and exciting competitions with Sweet Adelines International.
At Grand Harmony, every voice matters. Whether performing heartfelt ballads or high-energy pop hits, we aim to spread joy, connect with audiences, and celebrate the unique magic of singing together. Our repertoire spans jazz, contemporary a cappella, pop, and show tunes — from timeless classics to today’s chart-toppers, featuring artists like Adele, John Lennon, Tom Cochrane, Cyndi Lauper, Bonnie Tyler, Barenaked Ladies, and Celine Dion.

Sweet Adelines International changes name after 80 years.
TULSA, Okla. (May 20, 2026) — Sweet Adelines International, the largest international barbershop and a cappella organization for women, has officially changed its name to SingUnited International.
Founded in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1945, Sweet Adelines started as a small group of women who loved to sing. Since then, it has evolved into a premier barbershop and a cappella organization connecting thousands of singers from around the world.
This name change is designed to usher in the future of barbershop: giving women of all ages the opportunity to express their creativity through barbershop and a cappella music, performance, and education.
This name, SingUnited International, was chosen to signify both the world-wide scale of the organization and the unity created when singers come together to express themselves through their vocal and artistic abilities.
“We spent a lot of time and effort asking our members what they wanted from this organization,” says JD Crowe, International President, “Their feedback tells us they value our core principles – musical excellence, education, and community – plus, they want a new bolder image for the next generation of singers who will love this organization as much as those who’ve come before them.”
