About Our Music Team

The music team of Grand Harmony Chorus are invited by the Musical Director to assist in the artistic and musical direction of the chorus. The team is composed of the Musical Director, Assistant Director(s), Presentation Team Leader(s), and Section Leaders. Responsibilities of the music team include evaluating new songs and making repertoire decisions; teaching vocal and performance techniques; helping chorus members in their sections learn to be better singers; learning new songs first so that they can assist members in learning their musical parts; and evaluating the members of their section on their musical progress. The music team meets regularly to plan, analyze, and focus on our musical goals.

There are many committees filled with other members who support the music team, working hand in hand toward our vision. If you have skills or aspire to learn more about staging, choreography, costuming, makeup, theatre, music education, or leadership, you will find the opportunity to join a committee you are passionate about!
